It is our intention that as scholarship recipients understand the gospel their ministry will affect a large and unnumbered populous with that gospel, thereby furthering our mission. Junior year Theology, Religion, and biblical languages majors at Walla Walla University and Seminary students nearing final semester at Andrews University are eligible. They research the topic, write an essay and speak on the subject then are interviewed on their experience throughout the scholarship process which begins in September and ends April 15 when the above requirements are due. Our board uses these items to ascertain that applicants have done the research and understand the topic. Awards are made directly to the University and credited to the recipients senior year expenses. Their speeches and interviews are published online. Over 1200 people benefited from these postings. We received 12 applications and awarded 8 scholarships.
