Request a Grant Writer

Grants of up to $15,000 and grants of up to $30,000 to Nevada small businesses in eligible areas for support in light of financial losses caused by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. Funding is intended for payroll, rent, license fees, inventory, utilities, and other working capital expenses. Businesses must be located within unincorporated Clark County.

Businesses that have received other federal, state, or local COVID relief grants or loans may apply.  However, funding priority will be given to businesses that have not participated in and have not received funds from any other Clark County Small Business COVID relief programs. Next priority will be given to businesses that have received less than $25,000 total COVID relief funds.  All other grant applications will be awarded based on any remaining and available funds.

This grant will not start funding until after the new year.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility Requirements:
- Business location must be within Unincorporated Clark County
- Must have 50 or less full-time employees as of March 15, 2020 (Sole proprietor and home-based business are eligible.)
- Must have an active Clark County business license
- Business must have been operating on or before January 1, 2020
- Must have an actual financial hardship (financial statements from 2020 will be reviewed)
- Must not have any federal, state, or county tax liens

Non-Eligible Businesses:
- Businesses within City of Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Mesquite, and Boulder City
- Adult Oriented Businesses
- Cannabis Related Businesses
- Massage Parlors
- Liquor Stores
- Bail Bonds
- Check Cashing Facilities
- Payday Loan, Title Loan, and other Short-Term Loan Operators
- Convenience Stores
- Non-profit Organizations
- State and Federal Certified Labor Unions
- Uber, Lyft, and Third-Party Delivery Drivers

Pre-Application Information:

Applications will be accepted December 1 - December 22, 2020 through the online ZoomGrants portal.

Applications must be submitted through the online portal. Applications submitted via postal service, hand delivery, courier service, email, fax, text, etc. will not be processed.

Please allow 3-4 weeks after the application submittal deadline for applications to be processed and receive a letter of determination.
