Grants to Nevada nonprofit and for-profit organizations, and government agencies to provide assisted living facilities and services for individuals ages 60 and older. Funding is intended to create new facilities or expand existing services that benefit older people throughout the State. Services must benefit individuals on or deemed eligible for ADSD’s Home and Community-Based Waiver for the Frail Elderly (Medicaid Waiver).

The Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) is seeking partner organizations to provide assisted living supportive services in accordance to NRS 439.630(e) to individuals age 60 and older in Nevada, through state funding. “Assisted living supportive services” means services that are provided at an assisted living facility to residents of the assisted living facility, including, without limitation: 

  • Personal care services;
  • Homemaker services;
  • Chore services;
  • Attendant care;
  • Companion services;
  • Medication oversight;
  • Therapeutic, social, and recreational programming; and
  • Services that ensure that the residents of the facility are safe, secure and adequately supervised.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Non-profits, public agencies, and for-profit businesses may apply if interested in providing services outlined in the NOFO.

To be considered for funding, the assisted living facility must meet the regulations outlined in the NRS 422.3962, as well as the criteria for certification set forth in NRS 319.147.
