Grants to Nevada nonprofit organizations and government agencies to implement capital improvement projects that benefit low income areas in Clark County. Funding is intended to support activities such as rehabilitation, expansion, construction, acquisition, demolition, and disability compliance improvements.

Block grants are awarded to benefit low and moderate income households and areas through the development of affordable housing, community facilities, economic development and other anti-poverty initiatives. Eligible funding categories for capital projects in the community include, but are not limited to, facilities that serve the homeless, disabled, elderly, abused children, battered spouses, and low/moderate income neighborhoods.

Project category types may include, but are not limited to, community facilities, infrastructure improvements, and parks.

Term of Contract:

Projects will take place over the five-year period of July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2025.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Local non-profit organizations and government agencies serving eligible clientele and areas in the community are encouraged to submit proposals.

Applications will be accepted starting August 12 with applications due on Friday, Oct. 11.
